So, here it is, the last episode of EVE no Jikan! It’s quite a bit longer than the previous episodes, which is why it took us longer than expected to finish working on it. We actually tried to release this before the movie got out, but I guess we missed the deadline by a few days.

I’d also like to announce that we’re going to work on the movie, which basically combines all 6 episodes and adds new content. And it’s going to be in high definition! :)

EVE no Jikan – 04

As our original encoder vanished in April and as the movie BD is going to be released in a few weeks, we decided to switch encoders and cut back on some of the AFX TS, so we can push out the last three episodes fast. Be at ease though, we mainly just didn’t TS that 3D rules (you see it several times in every episode), cause TSing it takes longer than TSing all the other signs together.

So here’s episode 4. You may notice the increase of file size. This is not only due to the new encoder but in general this episode is quite hungry for bitrate. Once you’ve watched it you’ll see why.

So get yourself a comfortable couch, a cup of tea and enjoy watching this episode.

Seto no Hanayome 04 & 05, EVE no Jikan 03v2

So we thought as it’s already been almost 6 months again since we last released a Seto no Hanayome episode — you surely remember, we released episode 1 on 14 Sept. 2008, episode 2 on 13 March 2009 and episode 3 on 21st Sept. 2009 — we’ll surprise you and release TWO episodes this time! Furthermore, we’ll announce that we’ll drop Seto no Hanayome. Yes, you read right, we’re now going to cease working on the DVD rips…

…because the BD box was released today! We’re going to restart this project, reorganise the team and hopefully find the BD files soon on Share so we can start working on them. We also want to assure you that we won’t release the BD rips in 6 months intervalls, we’ll try to be a bit faster this time. ;)

Episode 4 is about a new girl by the way. ;)

Episode 5 got everything! It features apes (above) and sharks (below)! Not to forget the epic storyline with smoothly animated fighting scenes, detailed backgrounds and, of course, lots of fanservice — I mean manly tears (it’s the same in this anime, really).

On a side note, we’ve forgot to mux in the fonts and chapter file for EVE no Jikan 03v2. Thanks to HK-47 for pointing this out. You can download a patch file with instructions below if you don’t want to download the whole file again. Sorry for the screw-up.

EVE no Jikan – 03

Didn’t expect to see another episode of EVE no Jikan so “soon”, did you? :)

This wonderful episode is about (sexual) relationships with androids. Rikuo and Masaki get to know Rina and Koji, who are apparently having such a relationship. While Rikuo is more open-minded, Masaki just can’t accept it. Is a human-android relationship really ethical? What do you think?

Once you’ve watched the episode, feel free to discuss it here! I’d also suggest you to read Almost A Hero’s blog entry about this episode first, it’s really worth reading (I know I enjoyed it at least). Don’t mind that it’s from 2008~

At long last. You can blame me for this taking so long. Typsetting 3D signs is seriously a freaking pain. But it was worth going through all the trouble~

We felt like adding a TL Note in the episode would just confuse the viewers, so we’ll put it here:

After having watched this episode you might’ve noticed some people calling the little girl Chii-chan while others call her Chie-chan. That’s actually on purpose. Chii-chan is the cuter version, Chie-chan is more formal. So the ones close to the little girl will call her Chii-chan.

With an increase in many new, experienced staff members (which won’t slow down older projects) we’re starting a new series called EVE no Jikan, which so far promises to give us a lot of thought about mankind’s future. It may not be “our” immediate future, but it possibly can happen. Androids. Paving the way to make human’s lives easier. Or do they? Should there be laws and regulations? Should they be treated equally, or like slaves?

Should there be a distinction between us?
